Jeep® Commander Limited and Overland come standard with an advanced infrared Dual-Zone Climate-Control system. State-of-the-art infrared sensing measures the temperature of the driver and front passenger, as well as the air temperature inside the cabin to create a customized, comfortable environment. The system includes solar sensors and rear-seat heat and air-conditioning outlets for excellent air temperature distribution.

You'll easily reach the gas and brake controls with power-adjustable pedals for 2008 Jeep® Commander models. These pedals move toward or away from the driver to help achieve a safe and comfortable seating position, while improving vehicle control. Sport comes standard manual temperature controls with 2nd-row outlets. For added rear passenger comfort, Commander Limited and Overland come standard with a third-row manual temperature control and outlet (optional on Sport).

Command central. All Jeep® Commander models come standard with an Electronic Vehicle Information Center (EVIC). This handy feature provides programmable access to important items such as headlamp and wiper functions, digital compass and outside temperature info, remote keyless / illuminated entry system, service intervals, and the handy trip computer.

Now you've got convenience nailed down. The available UConnect® system takes it that extra step with an iPod® interface—allowing you to have full control of the system from your radio buttons. Then just charge and store your iPod® safely in the glovebox, all the while enjoying the music on the speakers. Additionally, UConnect® lets you dial your Bluetooth®-compatible wireless phone with simple voice commands and automatically mutes your radio before receiving or sending a call.

Maintaining proper tire pressure is paramount for optimal safety, performance, and fuel economy. The standard tire-pressure monitoring systems for Jeep® Commander models feature tire-valve stem-mounted sensors that monitor individual tire pressures for all four rotating tires and warn if pressure is too low or too high. Whether you choose the base system (warning lamp display located on instrument panel) or premium system (monitoring display located on Electronic Vehicle Information Center), you'll know your tires are ready to hit the road.

Warm up your Jeep® Commander in the winter and cool it down in the summer, before you even enter the vehicle, with available remote start. This handy feature allows you to start your vehicle from up to 300 feet away (even through walls) by pressing a key fob button.

Remote start is standard on Limited and Overland, and available on Sport as a factory-installed option. The Sentry Key® theft-deterrent system comes with remote start and includes two encoded keys.
