You already know that Jeep® Grand Cherokee allows you to conquer any terrain. Grand Cherokee’s can tow a healthy 7,400 pounds when properly equipped.

Grand Cherokee’s available Trailer Sway Control[1] (TSC) system helps reduce trailer sway and improves handling in adverse towing conditions caused by crosswinds and traffic.

TSC works with Electronic Stability Program (ESP)[1] and the Antilock Brake System (ABS), alternating brake pressure to automatically correct oscillation in the vehicle trailer system.

TSC does not require any driver input. It automatically activates when needed. The ESP function lamp will flash when TSC is activated.

  • Towing Capability

    Jeep® vehicles have the torque you need to tow your toys with confidence. Whether it's a pop-up trailer or personal submarine-the Jeep brand has you covered. The Trailer Tow Group includes a Class II receiver hitch, trailer tow wiring harness and Trailer Sway Control[1] (TSC).The Trailer Tow Group Class IV includes a Class IV receiver hitch, 7- and 4-pin wiring harness, heavy-duty cooling and Trailer Sway Control[1] (TSC).

  • Tow / Haul Mode

    The advanced five-speed transmission uses fully adaptive electronic control for exceptionally smooth shifting. Push the TOW / HAUL button next to the shifter for improved vehicle performance and fuel economy while minimizing engine noise during trailer towing or heavy-load hauling. The TOW / HAUL mode inhibits fourth gear and allows upshifts to third gear during higher speed / lighter loads.

  • Tow Hitch Kit
