- Dual Variable Valve Timing
The 2.4L and 2.0L World Engines feature dual Variable Valve Timing (dVVT) on both the intake and exhaust camshafts for better all-around performance. The electronically controlled timing produces more power, better fuel economy and smoother, quieter operation than engines without dual VVT. Smart.
- Hill Start Assist
The newly available Hill Start Assist (HSA) helps drivers when starting a vehicle from a stop on a hill by maintaining the level of brake pressure applied for a short period after the driver's foot is removed from the brake pedal. If throttle is not applied within a short period after the driver's foot is removed from the brake pedal, brake pressure will be released.
