Living up to the Jeep brand's Go Anywhere, Do Anything® lifestyle, Compass has an available Trail Rated® Freedom Drive II® Off Road Group for off-road capability (4x4 only)

There are three distinct Compass models to choose from: Compass Sport, Compass Latitude, and Compass Limited.

  • Grand Styling

      The 2012 Compass features sophisticated “baby Grand” exterior styling cues with a seven-slot grille with chrome surrounds. Adding an element of attitude, the hood sports a subtle power bulge, strengthening its serious attitude.

  • Lighting Performance

      The forward lighting performance, with the use of quad reflector headlamps (same styling as Grand Cherokee) and the high-output projector fog lamps, helps visibility in inclement weather. Examine the inner lamp of the iconic round headlamps and you'll be treated to a detailed seven-slot grille.

  • Bodyside Cladding

      Jeep® Compass features a unique appearance with a band of lower bodyside protective accent cladding to help fend off debris when driving in challenging weather conditions and off-road.

  • Bright Accents

      Compass Limited features bright accents throughout the exterior, lending an upscale touch without compromising the off-road performance. Features include: a bright step pad and a bright exhaust tip. 18-inch chrome-clad wheels are also available on Limited.

  • Rear Spoiler

      The rear styling offers many subtle touches including a body-color roof spoiler and upscale LED taillamps. Jeep® vehicle engineers designed the rear fascia and a black painted muffler for a refined appearance.

 
  • All Weather Capability Group

    Being prepared can make all the difference. For all-weather, all-surface capability – choose Compass Sport 4x4 or Latitude 4x4 with the available All Weather Capability Group. This full-feature package was designed to help combat wet, mud and cold climes so you can confidently pick up the kids from school come snow, ice or hard rain.

     

    Components of the system include:

    • Goodyear 17-inch all-terrain tires All-weather traction with sporty outline white letters
    • All-season floor mats for mud, snow, slush, sand or boot tread souvenirs
    • Engine block heater preheats the engine for improved warm-up time and cold-start fuel consumption
    • Tow hooks can be used to help a fellow motorist out of a snowy ditch
    • Daytime running headlamps (high beam) are a low-cost method to help reduce crashes
