    Quadra-Lift®

    The unique Quadra-Lift® Air Suspension system adjusts easily with the simple turn of the height adjuster knob. Adding up to an additional 4.1 inches of lift for a maximum height of 10.6 inches of ground clearance, you can rest assure you won't be getting hung up no matter where your adventures take you. Choose from five different settings depending on the type of driving conditions or terrain you encounter — Off-Road 2, Off-Road 1, Normal Ride Height, Aero Mode, Park Mode.

    The Grand Cherokee instantly offers optimal on- and off-road traction with the available class-leading Selec-Terrain® system. Five selectable settings electronically coordinate 12 different vehicle management systems, including powertrain, braking and suspension systems, throttle control, transmission shifting, transfer case, Traction Control, Hill Start Assist, Hill Descent Control, Electronic Stability Control+, and more.
     
     

    The Selec-Terrain control dial allows the driver to choose from five driving conditions in order to achieve the best driving experience on all terrains:

    • AUTO: Automatically adapts to any on- or off-road situation
    • SAND/MUD: Quadra-Lift Air Suspension system raises the suspension, Traction Control operates with sensitive response to wheel spin, and torque is tuned for optimal performance
    • SNOW: Vehicle traction adjusts for ultimate performance over snow- and ice-covered roads
    • SPORT: Provides enhanced on-road "fun-to-drive" capability
    • ROCK: Quadra-Lift air suspension system raises to maximum height (10.7 inches) and the transfer case, differential, and throttle coordinate to provide low-speed control

    Being prepared can make all the difference. For all-weather, all-surface capability — choose Laredo 4x4's available All Weather Capability Group. This full-featured package was designed to help combat wet, mud and cold-climes so you can confidently pick up the kids from school come snow, ice or hard rain.

    At the core of the Group are the Quadra-Trac II® 4WD and Selec-Terrain® systems that easily enable you to properly match 4WD traction to the situation and road conditions at hand. Components of the system include:

    • Selec-Terrain® system with five terrain options (Auto, Sand/Mud, Snow, Sport and Rock)
    • Quadra-Trac® 4WD system uses sensors to help maximize traction before slippage occurs
    • Remote start system + to warm up your Laredo 4x4 on a cold wintry day
    • Mopar® slush mats for mud, snow, slush, sand or boot tread souvenirs
    • Hill Descent Control takes guesswork out of steep, slippery slopes
    • Mopar cargo area liner helps keep dirty cargo off your carpet area
    • Tow hooks can be used to help a fellow motorist out of a snowy ditch
    • Daytime running headlamps (low beam) are a low-cost method to help reduce crashes
