  • Rock-Trac® 4WD
    Rock-Trac® 4WD

More control. More torque at the wheels. Goes virtually anywhere you point it. The Rock-Trac® 4:1 low-gear ratio allows Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon to crawl at a lower speed but with greater increase in torque at the wheels, making it easier to trek over large rocks and timber. The main case joint is clamped by 18 bolts for added structural stiffness. Rock-Trac is a part-time system and is not recommended for use on dry pavement.

  • Command-Trac® 4WD

No-nonsense — tough as railroad spikes. When four-wheel power is required, like off-roading or in slick conditions where more traction is needed, the second-generation Command-Trac® NV241 kicks into action and delivers equal power to all four corners, getting through the rough stuff with ease. The main case joint is clamped by 18 bolts for added structural stiffness. Command-Trac is a part-time system and is not recommended for use on dry pavement.

  • TRAC-LOK® DIFFERENTIAL
    TRAC-LOK® DIFFERENTIAL

The Trac-Lok® rear differential is available on select Wrangler Unlimited Sport and Sahara models. It's a torque-sensitive mechanical unit that works to maintain traction in slippery or rough conditions. Trac-Lok automatically distributes the available rear torque to the rear wheel that provides the most traction, thus helping to reduce wheel spin caused by lack of traction in the other rear wheel.
