Grand Cherokee's available Alpine® Premium Sound System creates a realistic sound stage by utilizing a high-powered 12-channel, 506-watt amplifier powering nine speakers and a subwoofer strategically placed throughout the cabin. Alpine is known for offering outstanding tonal balance, an evenly distributed soundstage and exquisite sound definition.

An available Rear DVD Entertainment System includes a 9-inch drop-down DVD screen along with ports to connect games and media players with audio and video output capability. The system includes a wireless remote control unit and two wireless headsets.

Exclusive on Grand Cherokee SRT8® is the Harman Kardon® Performance Audio system, with innovative GreenEdge® technology and delivering 825 watts of power.

  • The 19-speaker premium SRT® performance audio surround-sound system with an innovative 35-volt tracking power supply, 12-channel Class D amplifier delivers outstanding acoustics and brings multidimensional, quality sound to all interior occupants.

  • The innovative system uses GreenEdge speaker and amplifier technology to offer superior sound quality and high outputs with minimum energy consumption. GreenEdge amplifiers outperform traditional amplifier efficiency by up to 55%. The speakers are tuned for maximum efficiency and perfectly matched to the amplifier output.

  • The system's 19 GreenEdge high-efficiency speakers include nine tweeters, five mid-range speakers, two mid-woofers and three subwoofers throughout the interior.
