The 2013 Jeep® Grand Cherokee employs both passive and active Safety and Security features such as standard advanced multistage driver and front-passenger airbags+, Electronic Stability Control+ (ESC) and four-wheel Antilock Brake System (ABS) with rough road detection specifically designed to help keep you safer during your on- and off-road adventures.

    Active Front Head Restraints

    Active front head restraints+ deploy in the event of a rear collision. They are designed to help prevent or reduce the extent of injuries by minimizing the gap between the head restraint and the occupant's head in certain types of rear-end impacts. A four-way adjustable head restraint is also included for added comfort.

  • Seat-Mounted Airbags+

    For your Safety and Security, 2013 Jeep® Grand Cherokee offers driver and passenger seat-mounted pelvic and thorax airbags+ — standard on all models. They provide enhanced thorax protection, and work together with side-curtain airbags to help protect an occupant during side-impact and rollover events.
