Interior lighting dramatically improves thanks to new instrument panel mounted courtesy and ambient light, as well as a floor console cupholder lighting – both front and rear. A new premium cloth seat insert includes bolster material with an embroidered logo “Sahara” or “Rubicon” depending on model. The new leather seat insert with similar embroidered logo is optional for both models.

Other niceties include: available heated front seats, Automatic Temperature Control with cabin air filtration, steering wheel-mounted audio controls, 12-volt accessory outlets, 115-volt (150-watt) AC power inverter in console, Chromed Auto Transmission shifter and available automatic headlamps.

      The dash and center stack feature hex-head bolts and a new organic earth tone consistent with Wrangler Unlimited's purpose. The available Air Conditioning with Automatic Temperature Control and aviation-inspired vents are a welcome site as well.

      Automatic transmission shift levers (trans and transfer case) are nicely chromed for a distinctive appearance. Auto trans shift knobs feature Black leather on Sahara and Rubicon, urethane on Sport. You'll also find a Black soft-touch urethane transfer case and parking brake grab handles.

      The premium instrument cluster‘s gauges feature a technical aviation appearance. The large gauges are accented with Chrome trim rings and are integrated with the digital compass, temperature and a trip display with average fuel economy, distance to empty or elapsed time information.

    Front full door inner sheet metal allowed Wrangler designers to give the door trim a smooth, organic feel with upgraded soft-touch surfaces. Beyond the refined style, there's also a wonderful item called power door locks. Thanks to power door locks you can remotely unlock the doors as well! Now is it "open sesame" or "open says me"?

  • Wash-Out Interior with Drain Plugs

    When you take to the trail, you're bound to get a little dirty. For interior cleaning and water drainage, remove the floor drain plugs located just below the foot spaces. The Dark Slate Gray floor carpets are easily removed and feature floor mat retention hooks on both front carpets. Wash, rinse — and repeat the adventure.
