EXTENSIONS
If you have an existing Maximum Care or Added Care Plus plan issued by Chrysler, you may be eligible to extend your coverage for an additional 1 Year or 15,000 Miles, whichever comes first. This is ideal for customers who have decided to keep their vehicles longer than planned when they purchased their plan, or customers whose mileage exceeded what they originally planned. If you purchase an Extension, your existing coverage will continue automatically when your original plan expires by time or mileage. You will not lose any time or mileage from your original plan.
To purchase an Extension, you must meet all of the following criteria:
Your vehicle has one of the following warranties in effect:
- 5 Year/100,000 Mile Powertrain Limited Warranty
- 7 Year/70,000 Mile Powertrain Limited Warranty
- Lifetime Powertrain Limited Warranty
- 3 Year/36,000 Mile Basic Warranty
Your original plan has a 5, 6 or 7 year term.
Your original plan is within 1 year or 12,000 miles of its expiration.
Your vehicle is not a Viper, SRT, Sprinter, Ram Cab/Chassis or hybrid.
Your vehicle is not a taxi, limousine or ambulance, nor is it used in police pursuit or postal delivery service.
