The testing ground for the Jeep® Brand off-road capability, the Rubicon Trail is a 22-mile-long route, part road and part trail, located in the Sierra Nevada of California. The trail portion of the route is about 12 miles long, passes in part through the El Dorado National Forest and hosts a variety of famous obstacles and landmarks along the trail including: Loon Lake, Spillway, Gatekeeper, Granite Bowl, Ellis Creek, Thousand Dollar Hill, Soup Bowl, Big Sluice, Rubicon Springs and more. As one of the most challenging off-road trails in the world, this trail is not recommended for beginners or stock 4X4 vehicles.
