The factory-installed version operates in the same easy manner as the dealer-installed version. UConnect® will be available at all Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep® dealerships as a MOPAR dealer-installed option and as a factory-installed option. 7. What kind of phone will work with UConnect® Hands-Free Communication? A BluetoothTM Hands-Free Profile Wireless Phone. 8. What is BluetoothTM technology? It is a wireless technology that enables different devices to connect with each other without cables or wires. You can link your BluetoothTM Hands-Free Profile wireless phone to your vehicle without a cord or a docking station. Your BluetoothTM Hands-Free Profile wireless phone can be located anywhere in your vehicle, (purse, briefcase, or suitcoat)... and you will be able to carry on a conversation. 9. Do I have to sign up with certain wireless carriers? You can sign up for any wireless carrier, as long as they are offering a BluetoothTM Hands-Free Profile Wireless Phone. 10. Will UConnect® Hands-Free Communication be offered in Canada? Yes, we plan on making this available in Canada in the near future. 11. Is there a monthly fee to operate UConnect® Hands-Free Communication? There are no additional monthly fees other than your wireless phone bill. 12. Will UConnect® Hands-Free Communication have a warranty? Yes. UConnect® offered as a MOPAR accessory dealer installed option is covered under the 12/12 or 3/36 warranty, whatever is more favorable to the customer.
