The inaugural event was a one-day blast through the desert, the Saturday before Easter. A groove of revving engines and red dust hung in the air, as local cats rolled in their Jeep_® Brand SUVs—riding backcountry trails, swapping tips n’ tricks and exploring the glorious red-rock county. It was an unassuming meet up with open tops and grease-stained hands. A spirit was born that day, of roughneck camaraderie and a love of the trail, one that has been passed down through generations.
