The Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) electronic system maintains the cruising speed pre-set by the driver and, by detecting any vehicle in front, automatically adjusts the car’s speed while maintaining the safety distance.

The Autonomous Emergency Braking system predicts obstacles, even while travelling on extra-urban roads. Thanks to it, the new Avenger can brake automatically to avoid or mitigate collision with preceding vehicles, pedestrians or cyclists. At first, the car alerts the driver with an acoustic and visual warning in the instrument cluster, and if the driver does not respond the car breaks helping to avoid or mitigate potential impact.

Take greater confidence in knowing what’s beside or behind you. The Blind Spot Detection system reduces the risk of accidents during lane changes by alerting you when other vehicles travel into one of your blind spot zones.

Maintain the correct speed on every road. By communicating directly with the Intelligent Speed Assist (ISA), the new Traffic Sign Recognition system (TSR) is able to read road signs and deliver a warning if the vehicle is exceeding the speed limit, or if it notices any other possible restrictions.

The Lane Keeping assist system measures your position within lane boundaries. If the system detects an unintentional lane drift, it will alert you and correct the vehicle's position back into its lane.
