The 2026 Jeep® Gladiator is equipped with a 3.6L Pentastar® V6 engine. Engineered for legendary power, this engine delivers up to 260 pound-feet of maximum torque, a gas maximum towing capacity of 7,700 pounds, a 4x4 payload capacity of 1,720 pounds and 285 maximum horsepower.

With an automatic transmission, get the vehicle rolling at 1 to 3 mph (2 to 5 km/h) and then shift the vehicle into NEUTRAL (N). While the vehicle is coasting at 1 to 3 mph (2 to 5 km/h), shift the transfer case lever firmly to the desired position. Do not pause with the transfer case in N (Neutral) Once the shift is completed, place the automatic transmission into DRIVE.

The 2026 Jeep® Gladiator can tow up to a maximum of 7,700 pounds when equipped with available tow packages.
