2027 JEEP® CHEROKEE FAQ

POWERTRAIN AND EFFICIENCY

Thanks to the self-charging electric motor of its 1.6L EP Turbo Hybrid engine, the 2027 Jeep® Cherokee offers a manufacturer's estimated fuel economy rating of up to 39 city / 35 highway / 37 combined mpg as well as a total driving range of over 500 miles on a single tank of gas (excludes Trailhawk® trims).

The driving experience of the 2027 Jeep® Cherokee is the same as that of any typical SUV. But thanks to its 37 combined mpg  and a driving range of over 500 miles on a single tank of gas  provided by the 1.6L I4 Turbo Hybrid engine (excludes Trailhawk® trims), the 2027 Jeep Cherokee requires fewer stops at the pump than a traditional gas SUV—and fewer minutes spent wheeling around looking for a gas station on the way.

No, the 2027 Jeep® Cherokee never needs to be plugged in. It is a self-charging Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV), also called a plugless hybrid vehicle.
