3.6L Pentastar® V6 Engine
Every journey is as efficient as it is powerful with the 3.6L Pentastar® V6 engine featuring Electronic Stop/Start Technology. When your vehicle stops, it cuts the flow of fuel and turns off the engine to optimize efficiency. It also provides 293 maximum horsepower and a maximum towing capacity of 6,200 pounds. Standard on Laredo and Laredo X models.

Quadra-Trac II® 4x4 System
The available Quadra-Trac II® 4x4 System, which comes standard on the Grand Cherokee Overland, uses a two-speed low transfer case and multiple sensors to detect tire slip early and take corrective action. Choose Auto in the available SelecTerrain® Traction Management System for daily driving, or select Sport, Snow, Sand/Mud or Rock for specific conditions.
Quadra-Drive® II 4x4 System
The Quadra-Drive® II 4x4 is the most rugged of the systems available on the Grand Cherokee, featuring a 2.72:1 low-range ratio and a rear electronic limited-slip differential that can instantly send up to 100% of available torque to the axle with the most traction when slip is detected. That means you can get more turning force at low speed for crawling over rocks, climbing steep grades, or moving through deep mud. And when tire slippage is detected, as much as 100% of available torque may be instantly routed to the axle with the most traction.
