“EV batteries take up a lot of power.”

Nope. Charging your EV battery uses no more power than any other complicated electric device. Energy consumption obviously varies depending on driving speed, duration and other accessories in the vehicle being used.

“EV batteries are designed to fail so that drivers are forced to replace them.”

False. Other than in the case of major recalls, the replacement rate for EV batteries is statistically very low—about 1%.

“The electromagnetic waves used to propel EVs disrupts bird migration and can lead to health problems in humans.”

Negative. The electromagnetic waves created by electric vehicles are extremely low, and unlikely to cause any disruption to humans or birds (unless that dang coyote uses an EV’s incredible performance and efficiency to finally catch that roadrunner).
