Designed for peak performance both on- and off-road, the 2020 Jeep® Wrangler can take you practically anywhere you want to go.

THE BADGE SAYS IT ALL

The Trail Rated® badge is proudly worn by every 2020 Jeep® Wrangler. To earn it, the vehicle must be capable of passing a series of grueling tests to prove its ability to withstand tough terrain, harsh conditions and inclement weather.

TRACTION

Traction is all about transferring engine power to the ground. Three available 4x4 systems help you handle the most unpredictable conditions.

WATER FORDING

With a high air intake, sealed electrical connections and moisture-resistant body openings, you can cross creeks, streams and puddles with ease.

MANEUVERABILITY

Easily maneuver tight, treacherous trails or navigate around rocks or fallen logs with precision steering systems and high-performance wheelbases.

ARTICULATION

Good suspension and axle articulation help keep your wheels on the ground, allowing for maximum traction while going over obstacles.

GROUND CLEARANCE

Drive over logs, rocks, or anything else on the trail, thanks to exceptional ground clearance and protective underbody skid plates.

MONITOR YOUR PLAYBOOK

The 2020 Jeep® Wrangler offers available Off-Road Pages to help keep you informed about off-roading stats, including wheel articulation, transmission temperature, suspension height settings and drive modes.

ADRENALINE ADDED

The 2020 Jeep®Wrangler delivers power and efficiency thanks to a choice of five available engines, two of which are equipped with the new eTorque Mild Hybrid System for more low-end torque.

READY TO LAUNCH

The eTorque Mild Hybrid System adds extra low-end power to 295 pound-feet of torque, delivering impressive stop-and-go performance to the available 2.0L Turbo engine’s already notable stats. You get steady crawling on the trail and smooth power off the line.

LEGENDARY 4X4 CAPABILITY

Over 75 years of off-road evolution are rolled into the 2020 Jeep® Wrangler. No matter what adventure you throw its way, a variety of standard and available 4x4 systems are there to help give impressive traction to get you where you want to go.

ALWAYS IN SEASON

The Sahara model features an available full-time Selec-Trac® 4x4 System that automatically switches from two-wheel drive on clear roads, to four-wheel drive for continuous traction on snow, ice rain or mud.

WE’VE GOT YOUR BACK

Wrangler stays strong in the face of obstacles on the road. High-strength steel skid plates help protect key components like the fuel tank, while heavy-duty skid plates offer optimal strength, durability and performance.

AN OFF-ROAD ICON

The 2020 Jeep® Wrangler Rubicon offers legendary off-road capability thanks to advanced traction systems, Tru-Lok® Electronic Locking Differentials and Electronic Front Sway Bar Disconnect.

NOT YOUR AVERAGE TIRE

The Rubicon gets ample ground clearance thanks to 33-inch all-terrain tires. They offer a larger surface area than regular tires for improved traction and more control on the off-road.

SOLID AS A ROCK

Rock rails help protect door sills from damaging debris, and winch-capable steel bumpers have removable endcaps so you can push the limits with more radical off-road adventures.

ROCK CLIMBER PRO

With a 4:1 low-gear ratio, the Rock-Trac®-equipped Rubicon can deliver an 84:1 crawl ratio when equipped with the manual transmission to crawl over obstacles.

PUSH THE BOUNDARIES

The Electronic Sway Bar Disconnect system allows you to remotely disconnect your sway bar from the cabin, so front wheels can drop and compress for better suspension articulation on tough terrain.

LOCK ‘EM UP

Power can be misapplied when rock crawling, causing the wrong wheels to spin. Front and rear Tru-Lok® electronic locking differentials lock and evenly distribute power for impressive traction.

READY, WILLING AND ABLE

With the legendary capability of the 2020 Jeep® Wrangler, you’ll be able to come to the rescue with front and rear heavy-duty tow hooks when they get stuck.
